Where Rehab 1 sits
Rehab 1 is the first cure cycle after a missed payment. The goal is to cure the account before it advances to Rehab 2 or charge-off.
Standard cadence
- Day 1–3: courtesy contact attempts (inbound + outbound).
- Day 4–10: structured outreach with payment options.
- Day 11+: review for promotion to Rehab 2.

Always document every attempt in the account note, even if there's no response.
